Frenstat, the ancestral village of my great great grandparents Mikulas and Apolina Bartos who emigrated to Texas in 1873. While a photo is not posted on this travelog we located the house of the Bartos rodina. Hank
Thanks to Darwin Machu and other members of the Texas Czech Genealogy Society who scoured the state of Texas for memorbalia of the early Czech pioneers which is now on exhibit in the Frenstat Museum honoring the Czech emigrants who traveled across the Atlantic to their new adventure in Texas. The exhibit was dedicated and opened in June 2007. Hank
